The ace is a very popular shape from Cabrinha as of last year with it’s launch in 2015. The ace is for the freestyle rider who wants to ride straps with the option to ride boots as well. The thing that we like about the ace is that it flexes and bends in the chop to provide a smooth and predictable ride. Slightly pulled in tip and tail makes the ace functional for it’s design without catching edges and spraying the rider in the face. Don’t get the ace if you need a board that will ride in a wide range of wind conditions because that is not what it is designed for. It is made for the rider who wants the power to do maneuvers and push their riding to the next level. If you want an all arounder with a wider range then the Spectrum might be the ticket. One of the most efficient ways to control tip, tail, and torsional flex is through the use of core profiling. With our Parabolic Rails we are able to precisely control the stiffness of our boards by using a raised and tapered rail shape. Having the thickness along the rail helps with torsional stiffness and enhances flex control while keeping the board weight to a minimum.
