The new Performance-X Carbon Mast 11.8mm is a deliberate choice for riders for prioritize glide, speed, and refined turning feel over maximum stiffness. Ideal for downwind, fast winging, and clean carving lines.
The Performance-X’s section is all about minimal resistance, maximum flow. With a 106.8mm chord and just 11.8mm of thickness, it delivers a lighter, looser feel in the water especially noticeable when laying into turns. The Performance-X has been engineered to thrive at these dimensions, letting you work with the forces of the foil, not against them. The result? A freer, more agile ride that rewards finesse.
Mast Top & Bottom: Refined Connections
The mast top and fuselage sleeve have undergone topological shape optimization, beefing up strength exactly where it’s needed and trimming weight and drag where it’s not. These connection points aren’t just stiffer, they’re smarter, delivering clean hydrodynamics and serious durability without bulk. Sleek, strong, and made to disappear underfoot.

Each size in the Performance-X range is tuned with specific angles fine-tuning the sweet spot of control across the speed range. the 725 and 795 have a 0.5 degree angle and the 865 and 935 have a 1 degree angle.
