$1,270.00 – $1,710.00Price range: $1,270.00 through $1,710.00
A dual-skin parawing with PPC’s patent-pending Power Assist Line bar system — the low-end power of a single skin, the upwind efficiency of a dual skin, and one of the widest usable wind ranges on the market. Sizes 2.0m to 5.9m.
The PPC Orbit is a dual-skin parawing built to cover a genuinely huge wind range without giving up the stash-and-go freedom that makes parawinging worth doing. PPC developed it in partnership with NOVA Paragliders — winners of the 2025 Red Bull X-Alps — and refined it across a wide spread of conditions in New Zealand.
Single-skin parawings are light and pack down small, but their usable wind range is narrow enough that sessions get frustrating fast. A dual-skin wing drives upwind far more efficiently, with more stability and less arm fatigue — it is just traditionally bulkier and softer on the low end. The Orbit closes that gap with ultra-light silicone-coated fabric and optimized short-line geometry, so you get dual-skin performance in a wing that still stows away while you ride.
It also sheds water fast. The silicone coating resists water retention and full trailing-edge openings let trapped air and water escape instantly, so the wing relaunches lighter, recovers faster and packs down easier.
PPC’s patent-pending POWER ASSIST Line system (patent pending #883068) is integrated directly into the Orbit’s custom ergonomic carbon bar. Engage the brake line into full brake and the Orbit generates instant low-end power to get you up on foil in lighter wind. Once you are flying, release the brake and it turns back into a highly efficient upwind machine.
Because the dual-skin platform reduces load through the arms, PPC reports that many riders barely feel the need for a harness.
| Size | Wind range (knots) |

| 2.7m | 16 – 35+ |
| 3.5m | 14 – 30+ |
| 4.5m | 12 – 28 |
| 5.9m | 8 – 24 |
Wind ranges are subject to board and foil size.
| Size | A-line length |
|---|---|
| 2.7m | 147cm |
| 3.5m | 152cm |
| 4.5m | 160cm |
| 5.9m | 178cm |
PPC’s Para Sack stash belt is designed to make the Orbit truly hands-free: a secure velcro system to keep the wing stowed, a larger storage pouch for easier packing, an integrated hook attachment and a safety knife included.
Use the wind range table above as the starting point — the 5.9m covers 8 to 24 knots, the 2.0m covers 22 to 40+ knots. Your board and foil size shift those numbers, so if you are between sizes, call the shop.
A dual skin flies upwind more efficiently, with more stability and less arm fatigue. A single skin is lighter and more compact, so it is easier to stow while riding. The Orbit is a dual skin built with ultra-light fabric and short-line geometry to get both.
It is a brake-line system integrated into the carbon bar. Pulling into full brake mode gives you instant low-end power for the take-off; releasing it returns the wing to its efficient upwind mode. That is what stretches the usable wind range at the bottom end.
PPC reports that because the dual-skin platform reduces the load through your arms, many riders barely feel the need for one.
The dual skin design really gears it more to those who already have some parawing experience. It is suggested to start with a single skin for ease and make your transition the Dual Skin.
