The Foil Drive x Slingshot Integrated Aluminium Mast gives Slingshot riders a new pathway to expand their quiver and unlock the next level of electric foiling. Available in both Efoil and Assist configurations, this integrated mast is designed for riders looking for enhanced ride-ability, improved efficiency, and a seamless Foil Drive experience.
The mast’s 118mm chord is paired with a low-profile mini pod design, delivering precise feedback with minimal compromise when it comes to additional drag.
At the mast’s base, the optimized One-Lock collar enhances efficiency and further minimizes drag by ensuring smooth water flow from the front wing through to the stabilizer, while maintaining Foil Drive’s proven durability standards.
Constructed from 6061-grade aluminium, these masts are among the lightest on the market, optimized for maximum weight savings, stiffness, and performance.

Assist – 17cm: A unique position designed for beginner, intermediate, and advanced assisted foilers alike. The Assist motor position is ideal for hybrid foiling, where the rider uses short bursts of power to get up on foil, then, as the motor exits the water, begins to harness natural elements like swell or wind to sustain flight.
The motor height lets you “surface motor” out to the lineup or upwind, while sitting close enough to the board to stay out of the way once you’re riding. Designed to extend every session, it helps riders get on foil faster, ride longer, and unlock more conditions with confidence and control.
Efoil: Designed for leisure foiling, flatwater cruising, and experimenting with your foils in new ways. Cruise at sunset or push the limits of your setup in a controlled environment. The efoil mast is a versatile tool for extending what’s possible with your Slingshot foils.
Important Considerations
Assist Motor Position: The Motor Cable has been pre-set to suit MAX and Slim systems. If you are using it with a Fusion, you will need to use the Barnacle Cable Extender.
Efoil Motor Position: The Motor Cable has been pre-set to suit the Fusion systems. If you are using it with a MAX or Slim, you will need to create a pig tail loop to shorten the motor cable, see below illustration.

Assist – 17cm: Likely will be for an intermediate/advanced Foil Assist rider, wanting to improve ride feel, performance, efficiency and installation.
Efoil: For an existing foiler, efoiling is more family/beginner friendly and is a great way to share the joy of foiling with existing gear, the integrated mast making setup a breeze.
A traditional efoilier, either first time foiling OR coming from a traditional efoil brand. The Slingshot x Foil Drive offering is a more diverse, lighter weight tool in comparison. Grow through a range of foils and boards or develop into new foiling disciplines. The Foil Drive is an efoil alternative due to its diversity across disciplines
