But the key fundamental thing that sets a great control system aside from the others, is the fact that no matter what the marketing hype, it should be so easy to use, that you never need to think of all the incredible features that have been built into it.

In 2025 Cabrinha have further developed and tuned the COS system, to make it even more intuitive, allowing the rider to focus on the job at hand and maximize his enjoyment on the water.

The key fundamental part of a control system is the safety aspect, and the COS bar outshines in this manner with the most consistent release loads under numerous conditions, giving you the confidence to know that when you need it, you’ve got it.

The new ergonomic QR handle and extended release travel of the quick release, ties in perfectly with the dual tube auto unwind feature with it’s Ceramic Bearings keeping friction to an absolute minimum.

The COS also comes standard with 22m lines, made up by an 18m section + 4M extensions. 2m extensions are also included. This gives the user the option to quickly and easily adjust their control system to 18 ,20, 22, or 24m length lines.

2025 VARIABLE LINE LENGTHS

Variable line lengths – The new variable Line lengths can greatly adjust your riding style and the kites performance. The COS comes stock with 22m (18m + 4M extensions) and 2m extensions. This gives an option for 18,20,22, or 24m line lengths

2025 1 X SAFETY

1X safety – Dual PU Tubes keep the clean smooth finish that Cabrinha riders are used to, but allow for an independent chamber for the 1X Security line to pass through.

AUTO UNWIND

The new dual tube auto unwind feature allows you to focus on the next trick at hand without having to manually untwist your front lines. The Ceramic Bearings keep friction to an absolute minimum. Just unpin the bar, pull it in and you’re ready to go.

Simple and clean trim system. Compact and durable stainless steel TrimLite Cleat™. Allows precise and positive trim adjustment. Light weight design. Elasticized trim line, internalized mainline and landing lines protected with PU tubing. Minimalist system with perfect balance and trim to match the changing wind conditions.

BIO BASED DYNEEMA

Bio-based Dyneema® fiber boasts the exact same performance as conventional Dyneema® with a carbon footprint that is 90% lower than generic HMPE fiber. As well as its extraordinary strength, bio-based Dyneema® excels in cut and abrasion resistance and has a high resistance to UV, a crucial benefit for its use in flying lines.
