Upgrade as you progress

Slingshot’s Quickstart packages are easy to upgrade. Add or replace individual components to change the feel:

• Downsize to the Kite 855 front wing for a faster setup
• Choose the 180 or 200 stabilizer for a more nimble ride
• Upgrade to a carbon mast or a longer aluminum mast, depending on your needs

Tech features

• Medium camber profile: the Kite 1255 front wing puts maximum thickness and camber far forward, giving a very low stall speed that makes the wing more forgiving and easier to ride.
• Slingshot stiff construction: a blend of high and mid modulus carbon, with carbon layers placed at 0° along the span for stiffness and at 45° to prevent wing twist, plus an internal stringer for extra stiffness.
• Hand finished: every front wing is hand-finished to tune the flow of water off the trailing edge and tips for a more efficient foil and a smoother ride.
• Fillets: built into the wings to add strength and reduce drag.
• Monobloc front wing: the front of the fuselage section is molded into the wing with a Carbon Arc Layup, which reduces drag and gives a stronger connection and more direct feedback. The fuselage construction is consistent across the One-Lock line.
• One-Lock latch: each front wing comes with a preinstalled One-Lock latch that secures the front and rear wings inside the collar at the bottom of the mast, plus a replacement latch.
