Who this is not for: Unifoil is direct about it – the Evolutions are not the series for beginners. They are for riders who want to carve harder and glide further. If you are still learning to foil, a bigger, lower-aspect wing will serve you far better.

Compact but powerful, with a speed range that stays surprisingly forgiving at the low end and rock-solid at the top. Unifoil built it for aggressive prone surf, downwinders in good conditions, and performance winging.
The Evolution’s slimmer foil section keeps a low pitching moment, so the wing stays pitch-neutral longer through the speed range. In practice that means no nose-down pull as you accelerate – drops, carves and steep faces stay predictable. It also lets you ride a narrower stance without losing balance, which is quicker to shift weight on, easier on the knees, and less tiring over distance.
Unifoil’s own downsizing guide: replace a Progression 170 with the Evolution 155, and a Progression 140 with the Evolution 135. The 115 sits below both – it is the step for a rider already comfortable on a small Progression who wants more top-end speed and a tighter turn. Same familiar ease and flow, more performance.
