Technology

• Sonar AF72 or AF85 Mast: 30% stiffer than the AK mast yet only 13% heavier, the AF72 mast is ideal for shallower waters, and prone surf foiling. The AF85 mast performs across all disciplines and offers you more ride height to clear waves or to heel over for tighter turns. It is also more forgiving in rougher conditions.
• GeoLock Tapered Geometry Locking System: Engineered to last, our unique GeoLock tapered geometry locking system provides a more effective load-bearing connection between the Mast and Fuselage, locking them together, so they feel like one piece.
• Easy recovery from surface Breaching: In perfect harmony with any Front Wing, our dihedral-shaped carbon pre-preg rear Stabilizer provides control and riding comfort, allowing fast pivoting turns and easy surface breach-recovery.
• Sonar AF Foil Board Adaptor: New Board Adaptor for the AF72 and AF85 masts. FE-Analysis allows us to optimize the structure, increase strength in the areas of highest stress concentration and reduce unnecessary weight in lower stress areas.
• Industry-standard 165x90mm bolt pattern: The Sonar Foil System can be mounted to any foil board with a 165x90mm bolt pattern. Foil Board and foil to board attachment screws sold separately.
• Fuselage 600mm: CNC-machined anodized aeronautical grade 6061-T6 aluminum Fuselage. Hydro-dynamically optimized shape for minimum resistance.
