3D-Modeled Wood Core for Maximum Flow

For the first time, the Fusion 7’s Paulownia core is fully 3D-pressed – including channels, concaves, and a new tip layout. This innovative CAD-based process enables smooth transitions between rocker, outline, and base contours. The result: increased grip, less drag, and superior flow in both upwind and takeoff phases. Manufacturing energy consumption was also reduced by up to 30% depending on board size.

Inspired by the “bulbous bow” of modern shipbuilding, the Fusion 7’s wide center keel reduces surface tension, softens chop landings, and enhances water flow. Combined with curved channels at the tips, a venturi effect is created, minimizing drag, improving acceleration, and lending the Fusion 7 its lively, agile character.
