North’s 2027 Navigator Pro Gen2 kite control bar: auto-unwind, Connect V2 single-action reload quick release, new rubberised EVA grip and 12+10m SK99 Dyneema Pro Lines. Works with any Low-V bridled kite.
The 2027 North Navigator Pro Gen2 is the second generation of North’s top control bar. It is a complete control system: bar, Connect V2 quick release, lines, harness loop and safety leash. North rates it as compatible with any Low-V bridled kite, so it isn’t limited to North kites. This listing is the Gen2 (2027, product code 85001.270021); it is not the earlier Navigator Pro, which has a different quick release and grip.
According to North, the Gen2 bar is 20% stronger and lighter thanks to a new fibre-filled polymer internal truss, and gets a new rubberised EVA grip with better wear resistance and colour retention. The Connect V2 quick release has a stiffer security finger, a smaller loop and 20mm extra travel, which North says helps reduce accidental unhooking and release. The titanium-coated stainless steel centrepiece and the power bracket were also refined for smoother bar travel and trimming.
Each bar adjusts by 5cm: pull out the bar-end cassettes and rotate them 180 degrees to switch between the two lengths.
